Parts for making the world’s most expensive shoes can be found in Nigeria

The fascinating spectacle called ‘the world’s most expensive shoes,’ valued at $20million and made of solid gold with 30 carats diamonds and a piece from a 1576 meteorite found in Argentina, were presented recently in Dubai. They were designed by Antonio Vietri, the Italian Shoemaker.

Remarkably, the parts for making these beauties can be found in Nigeria. There is gold in Kaduna, Kwara, Kebbi, Katsina, Niger, Osun and Zamfara states. There is diamond in Katsina state. And we have the following meteorites: Zagami in Katsina State, Bununu in Bauchi State and Gujba in Yobe State.

We have Jide of Keexs.com and the other shoemakers in the country. What is stopping us from setting a new record for the world’s most expensive shoes?
