Blast from the past – Mr Sparrow has no ATM but he’s not worried!

“I’m not Mr Sparrow. I’m not a bird. I’m the top of the food chain. I don’t operate based on instinct. I’m a thinking, rational being. I know cause and effect. I know about sowing and reaping. I know that thing call the rainy day.”

“Congratulations! Are you done?”

“Don’t take me down that road. I’ve been there, done that.”

“Where are you now?”

“Don’t patronize me, I don’t like it.”

“I’m sorry, I’m not the one who said, ‘I’m looking for my ATM.’”

“I said it, so what?”

“You said even if you found it…”

“Ehen? I said even if I found it. I don’t deny it.”

“You said the figures in your bank account depress you rather than make you feel confident at this time.”

“And so? Are you my wife?”

“I’m sorry, I am only trying to help.”

“You are not helping.”

“I can see that. I will give you some time to cool down but remember that Mr Sparrow and many like him have no ATM or bank account figures that make them feel confident.”

“Oh common on. Has anyone restricted their movement? Does coronavirus affect their health? Have you checked their current population?”

“I haven’t, my friend but your anger does not obliterate the reality of which I speak. I will leave you now.”
