Another take on NASA’s report that Tonga’s January 15th volcanic eruption is equivalent to hundreds of Hiroshimas

Be not proud, dear superpower with nuclear weapons capabilities. Be not cocky by the knowledge of what you can accomplish with your nuclear armaments because some often-underrated forces of nature have capabilities that can dwarf, in a moment, whatever weapons of mass destruction that humankind have created over time. Different agencies of nature are capable of producing more explosive forces.

And these agencies of nature are definite stakeholders in the ‘nuclear weapons ecosystem.’

The above reaction is a summarized take on the report by United States space agency, NASA, that the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano, which emitted rubble as high as 40kilometers into the atmosphere on January 15th, ‘…released energy… equivalent to somewhere between 5 – 30 megatons of TNT. Whereas the US atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945 was reported to have released an estimated 15kilotons of TNT.

It was reported that when that agency of nature unleased its explosive forces, it ‘obliterated’ the volcanic island 65km north of Nuku’alafa, among other intimidating and difficult-to-match manifestations.
