Does anyone know the current status of Political Will?

Where is Political Will, that ubiquitous entity that has found a clever way to impose himself on discussions about goings on in our polity.

For S. O Wey, a former head of service of the federation, writing in the 60s, “The Nigeria political will was gradually exhausted.” Following the wickedly intense struggle for power by the dominant political parties of the era, namely the Northern Peoples’ Congress, NPC, National Council of Nigerian Citizens, NCNC and the Action Group, AG.

What is the current status of political will? Has it got any kind of kick since the report of S. O Wey? How can it assert itself some more in the polity?
