Yesterday, I threw out a challenge following a dream my neighbour shared with me about an interesting dream he had. I should have waited before sharing the dream because he called me later to give me what you might call the second instalment of his famous dancing dream. He had had a second dream. This time the dancing steps were different from those in the previous dream.
Also, he did not wait for his friend to hand the headphones to him this time. He reached for them and his friend obliged him. And he got into the grove immediately. How long did he dance for? He could not tell but he knew it was for a long time. He was so happy with himself. Dancing never felt so good. Upon waking up the feeling became a fading memory but the lines of the new song remained. There was some rap in it. He did not remember all of it but he was more concerned if any of our rappers could spew as much bite as the bit he remembered.
Here is how he put it:
“My cattle is mine, chip’s in, chip’s inside
Nowhere you can see, nowhere you can see
Every movement I follow, every turn I know
My cattle is mine, chip’s in, chip’s inside
Nowhere you can see, nowhere you can see
Me and my bot know all the dots
Me and my bot have all the data
Me and my bot will track you far
Me and my bot will stand your shoot
Me and my bot will stop your shoot
Come rustle this, come rustle this
Me and my bot will stop your hustle
Me and my bot will stop your rustle
Me and my bot will stop this rustle
Come, come, bring it on
Come, come, bring on the rustle
Come, rustle this, come rustle this
Come rustle this, come rustle this
